Book a half-day Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Workshop
August is Women's Month. How are you ensuring that Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is an essential part of your corporate strategy this women's month?
According to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2020, gender equality would be achieved in 108 years. Two years on, considering the impact of the pandemic, closing the gender gap would take 145 years at the current pace.
In South Africa, the country’s legacy issues have resulted in women being especially vulnerable to the vagaries of inequality in different spheres of life including education, health, political power, economic opportunity and workplace challenges.
Corporates can no longer afford to be complacent and it is urgent that we prioritise addressing gender diversity and inclusion in ways that are transformative; and equip us with the skills to build and facilitate supportive and inclusive spaces in our organisations; and ultimately our communities.
